How do you create hands-on, visal and tactile activities for a topic as inherently digital as AI?
And how do you ensure that employees with varying levels of expertise—from absolute beginners to advanced users—can all benefit from the learning experience?
At the all-hands meeting for the Danish Technological Institute, we tackled these challenges head-on by designing an interactive, immersive learning experience for all 900 employees.
We created over 20 unique activity stations that brought AI to life and made the subject accessible, engaging, and playful.

By combining gamified challenges and immersive scenarios, we ensured that participants could actively engage with AI, regardless of their starting point, and leave inspired to integrate AI into their work.
Fairground is powered by a custom app – that we developed in-house – to guide participants seamlessly through the learning experience. Using a smart algorithm, the app manages group rotations between stations, ensuring a balanced and varied experience for all participants.
This approach not only allows for self-directed learning but also fosters collaboration, conversation and connection.
While the app’s core functionality remains consistent, the stations and algorithm setup are tailored to each client’s specific needs, making every Fairground uniquely impactful.
The event was a testament to how gamification and immersive learning can break down complex topics and engage employees meaningfully.
