Engaging stakeholders for UNICEF Denmark

200 stakeholders gathered for the World Childrens Day

Inspiring action for children worldwide

One of our most established and beloved concepts, the Knowledge Bazaar, took center stage at Børnenes Dag (Children’s Day) for UNICEF Denmark.

The event marked the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and launched UNICEF’s annual State of the World’s Children Report. This year, the report highlighted three megatrends shaping the future for children: the climate crisis, technological development, and demographic changes.

The event’s goal was to inspire action to benefit children worldwide and strengthen stakeholder engagement.

The Knowledge Bazaar brings ideas to life

At the heart of the event was our signature concept, the Knowledge Bazaar, a dynamic format designed to facilitate learning, dialogue, and connection.

The Knowledge Bazar consists of multiple stations, each hosted by a presenter who, in just 10 minutes, shares insights, facilitates an activity, or provides an experience.

Participants choose freely between the short, impactful sessions.

Over five rounds, participants have just two minutes between sessions to switch stations, guided by lively music that keeps the energy high.

  • Poetry reading: Alexandré Nsoni read from his collection, In Africa, Boys Are Not Born – Only Men.
