The Knowledge Bazaar is a dynamic format featuring a number of stations where participants freely choose between short, impactful sessions. 

Each session is hosted by a presenter who, in just 10 minutes, shares insights, facilitates an activity, or provides an experience.

What makes the Knowledge Bazaar so effective

The Knowledge Bazaar is a proven, participant-loved format that blends activity, knowledge-sharing, and networking. Here’s why it stands out:

  • Active and dynamic: Participants physically move between stations, keeping energy levels high.
  • Personalized learning: The diversity of stalls ensures there’s something for everyone, with topics tailored to personal interests and specific niches.
  • Practice-oriented insights: Each station offers actionable, real-world knowledge.
  • Great networking opportunities: The format naturally encourages dialogue and connections between participants and presenters.

How the Knowledge Bazaar works​

The bazaar runs in five structured intervals, each lasting 10 minutes:

  • Presentation: A project, tool, initiative, or method aligned with the event theme is shared in app. 7-8 minutes.
  • Questions and dialogue: The last 2-3 minutes participants are invited to engage.

Between intervals, loud music plays for 2 minutes, signaling participants to find their next station and providing a fun and dynamic transition. 

Flexible for any audience size or type​

Over the years, the Knowledge Bazar has engaged anywhere from 100 to 2,500 participants, from scaffolding workers to nurses, lawyers, and professors—and even attendees at international conferences with participants from over 50 countries. 

  • The number of stations is adjusted based on the group size, maintaining an ideal ratio of 7–12 participants per station.
  • Larger events allow for a slightly higher ratio while keeping the experience dynamic and meaningful.
